The Vintage Harley Girls series holds a special place in Karen's artistic journey, as it represents some of the very first professional works she created after launching her career as an artist. The series began when a friend who owns a Harley museum commissioned Karen to produce a detailed drawing of a 1948 Harley Hummer that he had personally restored. He requested one unique addition—a period-appropriate pin-up girl to accompany the motorcycle, reflecting the style and culture of the late 1940s.

The finished piece, Hummer Betty, became the inspiration for two additional artworks in the Vintage Harley Girls collection, blending Karen's passion for realism, vintage history, and classic American design. Rendered in graphite, the drawing highlights the craftsmanship of the iconic Harley while adding personality and nostalgia through the timeless elegance of the pin-up figure.

With meticulous attention to detail, Hummer Betty celebrates not only the beauty of a vintage motorcycle but also an era when motorcycles symbolized freedom, craftsmanship, and adventure. The monochromatic graphite medium emphasizes every curve, chrome detail, and mechanical feature while giving the artwork an authentic vintage feel.

Printed as a premium fine art print, Hummer Betty is the perfect addition to motorcycle garages, man caves, Harley-Davidson collections, offices, workshops, museums, and vintage-inspired interiors. It also makes an exceptional gift for Harley enthusiasts, motorcycle collectors, classic vehicle lovers, and fans of nostalgic Americana.
