Celebrate a treasured piece of Florida Keys history with Landmark, an original coastal painting by acclaimed Florida Keys artist Karen A. Kubacki. This nostalgic fine art print pays tribute to Robbie's of Islamorada, one of the Keys' most iconic waterfront destinations and a place that has held a special place in Karen's heart for decades.

Karen's connection to Robbie's dates back to the late 1970s, when it was a much smaller establishment than it is today. In those early years, Robbie's consisted of a simple bait and tackle shop where visitors could enjoy fish and chips for dinner while watching life unfold around the marina. Commercial fishermen frequently stopped by the docks, often sharing fish scraps that visitors eagerly tossed to the giant tarpon gathering below—a tradition that would eventually become one of the Florida Keys' most famous attractions.

Over the years, Robbie's has grown into a world-renowned destination visited by travelers from around the globe. While the marina has expanded, many of the original elements that gave it its charm still remain. Through Landmark, Karen honors the memories, history, and enduring character of this beloved Islamorada landmark that has welcomed generations of visitors to the Florida Keys.

Rendered in Karen's signature style, the painting captures the colorful waterfront buildings, palm trees, docks, and tropical atmosphere that continue to make Robbie's one of the most photographed locations in the Keys. Soft coastal colors and intricate architectural details evoke both nostalgia and the relaxed island lifestyle that has defined the Florida Keys for generations.

Printed as a premium fine art print, Landmark makes a wonderful addition to beach homes, coastal cottages, vacation rentals, offices, restaurants, and Florida Keys art collections. It also makes a meaningful gift for anglers, boaters, Florida Keys visitors, longtime Islamorada enthusiasts, and anyone who has fond memories of feeding the famous tarpon at Robbie's.
